Timothy “Tim” Arnoldt passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2024, in New Ulm.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Phil and Eileen Arnoldt; grandmother Esther Murphy.
Timothy Joseph Arnoldt was born on February 16, 1964 to Frederick and Diane (Murphy) Arnoldt in St. Paul. After Tim completed high school, he attended Winona State University where he completed a Bachelor’s degree. Tim married Teri Sundal on August 31, 1996 in New Ulm.
They were blessed with three children. In Tim’s early years he held the title of “undefeated” in the game of Monopoly, playing nearly every game against his sisters until he owned the bank. Over Tim’s career, he worked for Fastenal, La Salle Farmer’s Grain, and lastly became the proud owner/operator of Tim Arnoldt Powerwashing. One of Tim’s favorite jobs was parking cars in the Milwaukee Brewers parking lot. Tim also had a brief political career as the Mayor of La Salle. When Tim was not working, he enjoyed watching all types of sports and had an impressive amount of sports trivia knowledge. Tim cherished fishing, especially trips to Canada with his family and friends, where great memories were made. Tim loved going to the family farm in South Dakota, where he would spend hours mowing; he always felt at peace there. He also found happiness at the family cottage, where he could nap as long as he wanted. Above all, Tim loved his family and all the time spent with them. “Timmer” will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
Tim is survived by his wife Teri; daughter Jane Arnoldt of Minnetonka; sons Philip Arnoldt of New Ulm, Benjamin Arnoldt of Courtland; sisters Kim (Sherri) Arnoldt of Waseca, Kelly (Keith) Eustice of Waseca, and Kate (Tom) Arnoldt of St. Clair; brother Andy (Sarah) Arnoldt of Janesville.
