“A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock and Roll” was what everyone expected when they saw the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Swing Show March 14-17. And the performers delivered.
After one year of not having a swing show, the 14 students in this year’s show picked up where they left off in 2022 and put on a spectacular performance. The show included the whole group performing two songs, smaller groups performing together, solos, duets, and even skits in between the vocal performances.
This year’s production was made possible thanks to the following behind the scenes: directors Borneke, Seys, and Morrow; set designer Leo Powell; choreographer Brook Ling; musicians Doug Berndt, Josh Berndt, and Chad Pfeifer; sound and light technicians Kelton Erler and Gary Pfeifer; and members of the JWP staff.
